Riso Gallo Basmati rice comes from the Himalayan foothills in India and Pakistan, also known as the old 'Punjab' region. These are the only 2 areas officially allowed to grow Basmati rice.Our sustainable rice is sustainably farmed according to the Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) principles, to protect nature and help farmers; and verified by an independent third party. We only use 2 suppliers who have both been audited and achieved the top level of the SRP scheme.The Basmati rice packed in Eco-friendly packaging with low environmental impact, with recyclable plastic and cardboard.Basmati is best cooked as a compliment to meat, fish and vegetable dishes.
