Constructed of 2-ply 7.5- and 3-mil polyester film, this drumhead changed the art of drumming around the world as the first successful alternative to calf heads. The first Weatherking Drumhead was made of newly introduced Mylar from DuPont™. 7 mil and 3 mil ply films were combined to make the first AMBASSADOR® drumhead. It was the drumhead that changed the sound of the world.
