Gianni Maroccolo – Alone Vol. 2

Alone Volume 2, out on June 17, 2019, is the solo project by Gianni Maroccolo. Alone is a “perpetual” release: not a single album but a series, marked by Marco Cazzato’s illustrations and by Mirco Salvadori’s tales, supervised by Alessandro “Tozzo” Nannucci. Every December 17 and June 17 a new volume will be released. This chapter is subtitled “Abyss”, it’s inspired by the the shipwreck of F174, happened on Christmas night, 1996 at the offshore of Portopalo di Capo Passero (SR). In this tragedy almost 300 migrants coming from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka lost their life. Musical meetings rolled ou by Volume 1 are more and more widening thanks to: Angela Baraldi, Francesca Bono, Beppe Brotto, Andrea Cavalieri, Alessandra Celletti, Howie B, Life In The Woods, Marina Rei and Adriano Viterbini.
