Recorded live during two mid-summer nights at Girone Jazz festival in Florence with a classic bass-guitar-drums-keys band plus a string quartet, 15 tracks with stunning versions of Bowie’s hits including Life On Mars, Space Oddity, Starman, Wild Is The Wind, Heroes… Andrea Chimenti has a long to date relation with such repertoire, it should be enough to remember that Canto Pagano by Moda (originally released in 1987 and soon to be reissued by Contempo) was produced by Mick Ronson who also composed a brand new track for that record!
