Marco Raposo master bow viola – made of old pernambuco, excellent vibration characteristics, nickel fitting, ebony frog with Parisian eye, stamped “Marco Raposo” For the Marco Raposo bows, used pernambuco wood is used, e.g. use of pasture fences. The huge advantage of this wood results from the enormously long and natural drying period. But since this resource is finite too, Marco Raposo has had its own forests with successful afforestation programs for many years and is thus successfully contributing to the protection of the tropical forest. Of course, all bows are tested with the Lucci meter and made by experienced bow makers. Each bow has a pendant with the name of the bowmaker.
