Kuru Kuru

The graceful Kuru Kuru is composed of a tray, carafe and cup, three elements that hark back to their archetypes. By reinterpreting simple shapes of universal tradition, Naoto Fukasawa creates new objects of daily use. Kuru Kuru is a Japanese term for the turning-lathe, the main technique used to make the three objects. The humble forms breathe with elegance and kindness, while quiet power transpires from their continuous, flowing outline.
