Open wings, streamlined body, the instant of take-off frozen in 18kt gold-plated bronze — the winged horse rests on a plexiglass body, and the contrast between flight and material becomes even more vivid. The bronze carries the myth, the plexiglass carries the lightness. The intaglio holds the wing feathers — read one by one, the body has volume and momentum.
