Handcrafted by skilled artisans using crochet and advanced knotting techniques, the design begins with experimental woolen yarn studies that were translated from small maquettes into full-scale, large-diameter rugs. The result is a richly textured, hand-crocheted wool surface that evokes organic movement and visual depth through layered forms and graduated colour shifts. Univers Uchronia approaches the Swirl design as architects rather than illustrators.
