Originally designed by Giulio Cappellini in 1982 and reintroduced in 2019, the Dolmen table receives a contemporary update with Dolmen Color. While the iconic original was crafted in marble, this reinterpretation features a polyurethane base and a wooden tabletop, available in matte or glossy lacquer across the full color palette of the collection. From pure whites that emphasize its minimalist forms to rich greens and bordeaux inspired by Flemish frescoes, deep Mediterranean blues, and warm earthy tones reminiscent of Africa, Dolmen Color retains the strength and elegance of the original design. Its inspiration from prehistoric dolmens, reflected in the name, remains at the heart of the piece.
