The Colourdisc Vase by Cassina, created in collaboration with Venini and designed by Bethan Laura Wood, beautifully combines the timeless art of Murano glass with a contemporary aesthetic. This low cylindrical vase features a lacquered brass frame, available in light-tone finishes, which elegantly supports a series of decorative glass tiles. These tiles, crafted using metal moulds, showcase vibrant color patterns created by overlaying two dots of color sourced from the historic Venini Archive, offering a distinctive color palette based on the vase size. An optional blown glass insert, available in amber or horizon blue, can be added within the brass frame. This insert not only enhances the vase’s visual richness with an additional layer of color but also allows for easier water filling when using the vase for fresh flowers.
