Cassina
9 Tabouret stool
The Cassina 9 Tabouret Stool, originally designed by Charlotte Perriand for her Paris apartment, exudes a refined architectural style that embodies Perriand's pursuit of poetic balance. First crafted in tubular steel with a rattan seat, this stool debuted in 1929 at the “Équipement intérieur d’une Habitation” exhibit at the Salon d’Automne in Paris. It was featured in a salle de bain setting, with a terry towelling seat suited for personal care spaces. Today’s reissue maintains the stool's iconic design with a durable trivalent-chrome plated steel frame, offering a selection of seat materials that include plush toweling, elegant saddle leather, and the classic rattan. Compactly packaged for easy transport, the 9 Tabouret Stool is both versatile and stylish, making it a sophisticated addition to any space.
