Its design is rooted in the simplicity and durability of wood, reflecting Mogensen’s dedication to creating democratic and accessible furniture. The table’s slightly narrow top makes it ideal for smaller spaces, while still offering a cozy setting for intimate social gatherings. Crafted from solid wood, the BM1160 features rounded corners and edges that not only add to its visual appeal but also enhance its functionality for frequent use. The table’s stability is ensured by two diagonal metal brace bars that connect the tabletop to the frame, creating a striking yet subtle aesthetic element. Further elevating the design are the mortise and tenon joints, crafted from contrasting wood, which highlight the table’s handcrafted expression and attention to detail.
