Indigo Chimera Wamao 瓦猫 - Incense holder

Handmade incense holder representing the symbolic Wamao, the "tile cat" usually found sitting on the rooftops of Dali region, in Yunnan. This tiny sitting cat is a mysterious creature of the woods. In its open jaws, it welcomes your incense stick, while resting at the side of your tea table.  Handcrafted in ceramic by a local Dali pottery artist, this tiny cat is glazed in shades of indigo colour, from lighter to darker.
