Xiao Zhitong 小直筒 - Yixing Teapot in Benshanluni green clay

High-grade Yixing clay teapot in Benshanlvni 本山绿泥 , the rare green clay extracted from mine n.4 on the famous Huanglongshan. Fully handcrafted and decorated with experience and passion by the artist Yuan Weixin. This rare green clay Yixing teapot features a round filter with 7 holes. The type of clay and the shape are especially fit to brew young white and Sheng Pu'er teas. Each teapots has its own personality, which will improve over the years it will spend with you, brew after brew.  This teapot is available pure or with an hand-carved poetic verse: “明月常空净，浮云自高闲” that translates as: “The bright moon is always clear in the empty skyThe floating clouds drift freely, serene and high.” It evokes a sense of tranquil clarity and effortless freedom, typical of classical Chinese nature imagery.
