Xishi 西施 - Yixing Teapot, Benshan Luni green clay

High-grade Yixing clay teapot in Benshan Lu Ni 本山绿泥 green clay, fully handcrafted with experience and passion by our trusty artisan Yuan Weixin.  The hand-carved decoration depicts a wild orchid flower on one side, while on the other side ancient the calligraphy engravings - 兰馨 "fragrant like an orchid" - describes a persone with elegance and high morals virtue. The engraving on the second teapot is an invitation to enjoy tea: 吃茶去The Benshan Lu Ni clay makes it a rare object, with soft green reflections that emphasize the delicacy of the round shape called Xishi 西施. Widely known for its round feminine softness, this shape takes its name from Xishi 西施, a legendary beauty from ancient China. The round ball-shaped filter is composed of the traditional 7 holes, that ensure the best quality brew, and the purest liquor.
