Gongdenghu 宫灯壶 - Yixing Teapot, Zhuni red clay

High-grade yixing teapot, fully handcrafted with experience and passion by our trusty Yuan Weixin. Each of his teapots has its own personality, which will improve over the years it will spend with you, brew after brew. This special yixing is one of his latest creations, made using Zhuni 朱泥 red clay.The teapot shape is named Gongdenghu 宫灯壶, meaning "palace lantern". Two single-piece variants are available: a pure version, without any carvings, that enhances the porosity and natural texture of the clay, and a hand-carved version depicting a bamboo and the phrase 竹径深堪隐山影落茗杯 (Zhú jìng shēn kān yǐn shānyǐng luò míng bēi), conveying the image of a secluded bamboo path close to a hidden mountain whose shadow disappears into a cup of tender tea leaves. The teapot capacity is 130 ml (4.4 oz) and it comes with the artist's signed certificate of authenticity.Full Capacity: 140 mlUsage Capacity: 130 mlLength: 110 mmHeight: 80 mmWidth: 67 mmDiameter: 40 mmWeight: 117 g Note: each yixing is a unique
