Dancong Guihuaxiang 桂花香 - Osmanthus Fragrance

Dancong is one of the most special and peculiar Wulong teas. Its uniqueness lies in its cultivar: it is a pure tea made using the leaves of the same shrub, hence the name "Single bush", that after 40 years starts maturing its own distinctive fragrance. The Osmanthus aroma, from Guihuaxiang  桂花香 cultivar is the most intense, with its inebriating floral notes and delicate sweet hints of ripe peaches. The leaves are dark and gently twisted by hand, and even before being infused they already give off their mesmerizing osmanthus scent; while the golden shimmer of the liquor is reminiscent of the fragrant orange flowers that bloom at the end of summer.
