Huang Guanyin 黄观音 - Zhengyan Yancha

A rock wulong tea that carries all the minerality of the core of Wuyishan park. Huan Guanyin yancha has a vibrant and direct fragrance, a great example of the Yanyun 岩韵, the "rock rhyme" taste unique only to this terroir. A warm and nutty taste of roasting completes the sweet flavour profile of this tea, that strikes the senses first with its mellow fragrance of brown sugar and tropical fruits, and then with its persistent minerality.  Huang Guan Yin 黄观音, meaning "yellow goddess of mercy" and also known under the code 105, is a cultivar created between 1977 and 1997 in Fujian by combining two spontaneous varieties: Huang Dan 黄旦 and  Tie Guan Yin 铁观音.
