2023 Nannuo Yueguangbai White Tea, Wild Forest stone-pressed cake

Picked under the sun of early Spring 2023, the leaves of this Yueguangbai 月光白 (Moonlight) white tea retain all the liveliness of the life in the forest on Nannuo mountain. A delicate, lightly astringent and fruity aroma of unripe apricots and honey is released as the tea is unwrapped from its paper. The colourful shades of the leaves bring us back to their forest, where wild flowers that grow together with tea trees enrich the fragrance of this white tea. Smooth and velvety in the texture, golden and clear in the liquor. The layered taste of this white tea reflects the particular dryness of the harvest season 2023 and gives space to an interesting ageing of the leaves, compressed to preserve their beauty and enhance the development of their taste over time.
