2022 Nannuo Sheng Pu'er, Wild Forest Stone-pressed cake

This cake fully encloses the wild variety of Yunnan flora, and pays homage to the care of the manual harvest by the Hani minorities that have traditionally inhabited the land, and cherished the ancient manufacturing of this tea category.  Young buds furnished with a fine downy fur, still dormant in a rigid and compact bed of full, fleshy leaves and mature stems, are the beautiful sight that opens to the view when looking at this cake for the first time. When opening the natural paper that gently wraps the leaves, like tight petals, an under forest fragrance blooms in the air, releasing notes of medicinal herbs, softwood, Yunnan mushrooms, and tropical forest undergrowth. This beautiful tea cake, so similar to the image of a blooming rose, despite its young age has no astringency.
