2020 Nannuo Yueguangbai White Tea, Wild Forest stone-pressed cake

This Yueguangbai 月光白 (Moonlight) white tea comes from our wild tea forest on Nannuo mountain, and it has all the lively freshness and of the first spring flush, with a mellow softness given by the natural aging process. Harvest 2020 shows the sweetness of nectar, a fruity hue of unripe jackfruit, and a delicate floral fragrance that comes slowly to last for a long time at the bottom of the teacup after drinking the clear liquor. The design for our 2020 Wild Forest Yueguangbai was inspired by an illustration from the masterpiece Flora Sinensis, by polish missionary Michael Boym. The fresh hues of Nannuo mountain develop into a great delicacy when processed as a white tea, releasing a sweet flavor and a soft astringency of unripe fruits like medlar, litchi, pineapple, and finally jackfruit (菠萝蜜 Bōluómì), the protagonist of this illustration. This harvest already expresses the delicate notes of wood, honey, and wildflowers that will become predominant as the aging process continues.  Farm
