2019 Lunan Sheng Pu'er, Ancient Trees Stone-pressed Cake

In the ancient area of Lunan Mountain, centuries-old tea trees are a sight for sore eyes, and their gently-picked leaves give off a fragrant and sweet scent after the infusion. The Dai minorities who have inhabited this land for centuries are masters in processing the delicate tea leaves in order to obtain a unique flavor that preserves the vital flow of the ancient tea trees, releasing the taste of time with each infusion. This tea undergoes a process of natural fermentation. The leaves of the highest grade are steamed and pressed under a heavy stone, resulting in a round cake shape. Its flavor is alive, and it changes according to locations and seasons, always keeping its inebriating scent and the clear brightness of its liquor.
