1. Data controller

2. Data we process

• Users: navigation/log data (IP — stored only in hashed/pseudonymised form for anti-abuse statistics), approximate position (only if you grant it, used to run the search, not stored), any data you send when contacting a Merchant.
• Merchants: account data (email, business name, VAT, website, contact channels).

3. Purposes & legal bases

• Providing the Service and search (art. 6.1.b/f).
• Security, abuse prevention, anonymous/aggregate statistics (art. 6.1.f legitimate interest).
• Legal obligations (art. 6.1.c).

4. Geolocation

If enabled, coordinates are processed in real time only to return nearby results and are not retained.

5. Recipients

Technical providers acting as processors (hosting OVH/Plesk) and third-party services that may receive your IP when loading resources: OpenStreetMap/Nominatim (maps and geocoding), Google Fonts, public CDNs (scripts/styles). No data is sold.

6. Retention

Log/statistics data are kept for the time needed for the above purposes and then deleted or anonymised; Merchant account data for the duration of the account.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing, by writing to info@vicinissimo.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
